Position Overview:

Join the dynamic finance team at Broad-Ocean Motor, a leading company in the motor industry, as a Staff Accountant. This vital role encompasses a broad range of accounting responsibilities, including managing AP/AR, mastering SAP, reconciling bank statements, and supporting the annual budget process. We are in search of a detail-oriented, positive, and skilled accountant ready to contribute to our financial operations and special projects.

Key Responsibilities:

• Execute AP and AR transactions and general ledger entries using QuickBooks and SAP.
• Handle monthly inventory, inter-company reconciliations, and bank statement reconciliations.
• Account for fixed assets and inventory; manage expense reporting and vendor/client billing processes.
• Support the preparation and filing of tax returns, audit assistance, and compliance with accounting policies.
• Contribute to annual budget planning and special projects as assigned.
• Quarterly audits that include physical count of the warehouse.
• Backup for the Warehouse Supervisor as needed.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university with a major in Accounting or related field.
• Applicants with an equivalent combination of training and experience may be considered.
• At least 1 year of experience in corporate accounting.
• Strong communication skills and proficiency in critical thinking.
• Experience with GAAP and IFRS.
• Strong organizational skills, ability to multitask, and meet deadlines.
• End of month reporting may require additional after hours or weekend hours to complete.
