We are currently searching for an experienced
Senior Accountant
to support our
Accounting department
located in
Mobile, AL .
What you'll be doing:
Reconcile general ledger accounts and perform variance analyses
Review and analyze monthly financial statements
Assist in gathering and compile the information for the annual and quarterly budget and reforecasts
Assist with general accounting month-end/year-end closing procedures and audit preparations
Prepare and analyze complex financial records and reports
Provide clerical support for tax reporting
Complete special projects as needed and other duties as assigned
What you need to have:
Bachelor of Accounting or Finance degree required from an accredited institution
CPA or MBA preferred but not required
5+ years of relevant accounting experience
Strong technical, analysis, and organizational skills in addition to excellent written and verbal communication skills, in a professional environment
Ability to train staff and work with limited supervision
A high level of integrity, accuracy, dependability, enthusiasm, and confidentiality
Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, and PowerPoint)
Position will require a minimum of 40 hours per week
