    Summary:
    The Credentialing Specialist assists with all credentialing & privileging of Hyndman Area Health Center clinical staff. He/she also assists with the maintenance of all insurance enrollments & contracts.

    Location: 1 Corporate Dr. Suite 107 Bedford PA 15522

    Hours: Monday- Friday 8:00am-4:30pm

    Duties:
    Verify credentials of all clinical staff
    Verify competency & health/fitness status of all clinical staff
    Run exclusion reports for all clinical staff
    Credential & privilege students completing clinical rotations with HAHC
    Assist and expedite license enrollments for LIP staff
    Enroll facility and servicing locations with insurance
    Enroll rendering providers with insurance
    Complete insurance quarterly directory updates
    Maintain insurance contracts

    Qualifications:
    High school graduate or equivalent
    2+ years of experience in provider credentialing and/or insurance enrollment
    Preferred graduate of the medical secretarial program or office technologies certification
    Ability to use and understand computer applications
    Ability to complete assigned tasks in a timely manner with minimal supervision
    Ability to understand policies and procedures of a Federally Qualified Health Center
