    Job Details:

    • State Licensure Requirements: Candidates must meet the state requirements for paraprofessionals in Michigan.

    Responsibilities:

    • Provide one-on-one or small group support to students with special needs in various educational settings.
    • Assist students with pleting assignments, understanding instructional materials, and reinforcing learning concepts as directed by the classroom teacher or special education team.
    • Implement behavior intervention strategies and support students in developing social skills and emotional regulation.
    • Collaborate with teachers, therapists, and other educational professionals to create and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) for students with disabilities.
    • Maintain accurate records of student progress and behavior observations as required by school policies and regulations.
