    We are seeking an HR Coordinator who will play a pivotal role in our HR Department, with a primary focus on recruitment activities comprising of 50% of the role's responsibilities. Additionally, this position will involve working closely with the HR Director to support various HR initiatives and functions.

    Compensation: In accordance with the Colorado Equal Pay for Equal Work Act, the expected salary range for this Colorado position is between $62,000 - $67,000 per year . Actual pay will be adjusted based on experience and other job related factors permitted by law.

    Primary Responsibilities
    • Support the HR Director in educating employees on and enforcing company policies.
    • Collaborate with hiring managers to identify staffing needs, while providing logistical support throughout the recruitment process.
    • Utilize various recruitment channels to source candidates and screen resumes, conduct initial interviews and coordinate interview schedules.
    • Responsible for building and maintaining a pipeline of passive candidates for current and future hiring needs.
    • Managing the end-to-end recruitment process, ensuring a positive candidate experience at every stage.
    • Tracking recruitment metrics and analyze data to assess the effectiveness of sourcing strategies and make data driven recommendations for improvement.
    • Staying informed about market trends, competitor practices, and emerging recruitment technologies to continuously optimize the recruitment processes.
    • Assisting in the development and administration of candidate assessments or tests.
    • Organizing, maintaining and updating employee HRIS information as needed.
    • Assisting in management of the HR Support email, Workers Compensation Claims, Unemployment Insurance cases, and FMLA/ADA Accommodation Interactive Processes.
    • Entering all new employees into agency auto insurance policies, including SAMBA, and other agency accounts on an ongoing basis.
    • Obtaining and tracking personnel requirements, on an ongoing basis, including audits for state and COA.
    • Creating personnel files for all new employees, contractors, and consultants on an ongoing basis.
    • Supporting the HR Director with HR related projects on an ongoing basis which includes but is not limited to: recruiting, on-boarding, training, job posts, orientation, employee relations, policies and procedures, compensation, benefits, rewards and recognition, HRIS, unemployment, statistical reporting, maintaining and updating HR trackers, maintaining job descriptions, maintaining correspondence with employees and public entities, and assisting with onboarding/exit/change of position/promotion processes.
    • Assisting with executing routine tasks in delicate circumstances such as providing reasonable accommodations, investigating allegations of wrongdoing, and terminations.
    • Assisting with overseeing employee disciplinary meetings, terminations, and investigations.
    • Maintaining compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and recommend best practices, review policies and practices to maintain compliance with the assistance of the Employers Council and agency legal council.
    • Serving as a person of contact to all staff/public and is required to be friendly, warm and courteous, yet tactful and firm in uncomfortable situations, on an ongoing basis.
    • Assisting with verification of employment.
    • Assisting with monitoring leaves of absence, disciplinary actions, performance improvement plans, ADA accommodations, and anything else assigned by the supervisor.
    • Assisting with updating procedure sheets and personnel documents, on an ongoing basis.
    • Assisting the Business/Finance department with various projects, including but not limited to payroll, benefits, training reimbursements/promissory notes, resignations, workers comp time off, wages, etc

    Requirements
    • Must have 3 years experience in human resources or a Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field with 1 years of HR experience.
    • Must have a strong understanding of recruitment processes and best practices, preferably in a fast paced environment.
    • Must demonstrate exceptional written/verbal communication skills and computer/technological skills, including experience in Applicant Tracking Systems/Recruitment Software and programs such as Google Applications, Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
    • General clerical experience is required.
    • Must be highly organized, able to multitask and prioritize workload quickly.
    • Must have the ability to complete assignments accurately with frequent interruptions
    • Must be able to work-independently within highly structured processes and timelines.
    • Must maintain a professional appearance and be customer service oriented.
