    Experience:


    • 12 months of Medical Surgical - Orthopedic Unit experience is required.


    • Experience with Epic is required.

    Requirements:


    • Candidates must have a Wisconsin license or compact license in hand at the time of application.


    • This role will require floating to multiple units


    • Candidates must live at least 50 miles away from this facility in order to be considered a traveler when applying for this role.


    • COVID vaccination required for onboarding. Religious and medical declinations accepted.

    Pre-employment modules may be required for this role. Please upload any certifications or health documents you have to your profile to expedite your on-boarding process.

    Additional Details:

    Job Title: (1) Med Surg/Ortho

    8/12 Hr Days/NOCs


    • Guaranteed Hours Per Week: GSA hours are not guaranteed the week of Orientation. Traveler is guaranteed set hours per week, except during holidays where unit is closed


    • Shift Requirements: Variable 8/12 Hour Shifts


    • Shift start times: 0300, 0700, 1100, 1500, 1900, and 2300


    • Float Requirements: Float to like units, and surgery center as needed


    • On Call/Call Back Requirements: none


    • Weekend/Holiday: Every other weekend and holiday rotation


    • Minimum Experience: 1+ years in Ortho, must have Med/Surg experience


    • Unit Information 30 bed ortho/neuro unit. Population Orthopedic types of surgical patients. We also take medical overflow admission as well including strokes and neurology types of patients.

    1:4 on days and pms 1:5-6 on night shift


    • Scrub Colors: No bright colors or character prints

    **candidate must start medical portion of compliance within 48 hours of accepted offer, or 24 hrs for a quick start

    • AUTO OFFER - NO INTERVIEW: Please request an interview for one match from this facility at a time. You will not interview with the hiring manager if the facility chooses to extend an offer to you for this position. All time off requests must be submitted at application. Scheduling requests must be worked out with the manager directly upon starting the assignment. Any offers for this job will require a clear "Yes" or "No" response from the nurse within 24hrs or the offer must be declined.
