You will oversee Outbound (picking and packing) operations in a high volume order fulfillment multi shift distribution center Manage processes to ensure compliance with procedures identify process improvements and promote employee programs to create and promote an environment where employees are engaged and empowered You will report to a Senior Manager Distribution Operations at our Louisville KY location The shift for this role is Monday through Friday You will start around 945am until finishedQualifications
Bachelors Degree in Business Logistics Supply Chain and Operations or equivalent experience3 management experiences with increasing responsibility in a high volume multi-shift operation dealing with large employee populations.You Will
Use production safety quality cycle time financial and other key metrics to analyze performance and identify process variations or exceptions resulting in lower-than-expected performance communicate issues to leadershipSupport Distribution Center wide projects help ensure all deliverables are completed on timeCreate a welcoming workplace fostering positive team member experiences by developing engagement recognition programs ensuring all team members are treated fairly respectedManage the development process for salaried supervisors including interviewing training assigning directing work supporting development goals recognition performance managementIdentify opportunities for continuous improvement using LEAN DMAIC Six Sigma principlesEmphasize training implement audit systems eliminate process variation discrepancies ensure compliance Company governmental agencies e.g OSHA DOT EPAResponsibilities:Job description
