A fast-paced, high-energy electronics manufacturer is seeking talented individuals to assist in the launch of new sustainable products to market.

This organization is seeking to develop new technologies in electric motors, power electronics and smart connected devices that reduce the energy of flow machines (pumps, fans, compressors) as much as 50%.

As an Application Engineer, Inside Sales, you will be responsible for facilitating the process of accepting a clients RFQ and developing client relationships.

Additionally, you will have intimate knowledge and understanding of the EMD unit, as well as pumps, fans, and electrical systems, as you will apply this knowledge to work with electrical and mechanical prints and diagrams.

Responsibilities:
Build relationships internally and externally
Develop and maintain client relationships
Coordinate and assist BDM in the successful implementation of client pilots
Provide, use, and house documents for theory of operation, start-up, and commissioning of pilots
Travel to client sites and tradeshows as needed to win new business
Aid on project management functions

Requirements:
BS./M.S. degree, in engineering, business or experience in related field
5+ years in Application Engineering role
Demonstrated ability to sell to industrial customers
Familiarity with the industrial markets, electric motors, and variable frequency drives
Understanding of Electrical and Mechanical Engineering
This position will be

fully on-site

in the Syracuse area; relocation assistance provided on a case-by-case basis.
