**Shift: Monday - Friday / 7am - 4pm / OT Available**

**Job Description:**

+ Seeking workers in the plumbing or sheet metal or HVAC field to assist journeyman licensed technicians on new installation of heating and cooling units in commercial construction buildings. (hospitals, schools, offices, strip malls, restaurants, hotels, etc.)

+ Responsible for assisting with delivery, installation, and troubleshooting heating and cooling equipment - involved in various tasks.

+ Multiple projects lined up - locations in DSM metro and Ames.

+ Must be comfortable bending, crouching, kneeling, and lifting 100+ lbs as needed with a teammate.

**Work Environment:**

+ Work schedule is typically M-F 8-10 hour shifts - look at hours weekly depending on project demands (weekly pay)

+ Will be paired up with a journeyman and crew - meeting on the job site to start the day or at the shop address.

+ PPE provided - Hard Hat, Safety Vest, Glasses.

+ Dress code is professional work attire - Jeans, work boots, and a work appropriate tee shirt.

+ Working at various commercial construction locations - construction environment.

+ Skilled workers with previous experience in Plumbing/HVAC/Sheet metal or journeyman status can earn more pay to start (Depending on experience)

**Skills Preferred:**

+ 6 months - 1 year minimum of HVAC or Sheetmetal or plumbing or mechanical or construction experience

+ More skilled candidates with 5+ years experience - *Journeyman positions open - more pay opportunity*

+ Able to use basic hand tools

+ Valid driver's license
