GENERAL SUMMARY
Rohadfox Construction Control Services is searching for a Project Manager/Engineer for a multiple year project. You would be hired as our employee and eligible for full benefits including a 401k and PTO. The pay range is dependent upon level of experience. If relocation is necessary, we will assist. The job overview for this position is: Responsible for developing and executing an asset management program for landside civil work projects, including a five-year major capital improvement program. Develops project budgets, scopes, and schedules. Maintains involvement in capital projects from design through construction. The Project Manager (Project Engineer) will perform complex engineering and project management functions that involve and support the planning, design, and construction of a variety of infrastructure elements at the Raleigh-Durham International Airport. The Project Engineer will perform this role under the supervision of the Director Landside Engineering.
QUALIFICATIONS
Education:
Bachelors degree in civil engineering
Experience:
5+ years related experience in the planning, design, and construction of roadways/streets, bridges, tunnels, land development, utilities, and other matters related to this type of work at a commercial service airport the size and scope of RDU.
Licenses and/or Certifications:
Licensed Professional Engineer (P.E.) desirable but not required

Knowledge of:
Project planning and budgeting
Project management best practices
The standards, principles, methods, and practices for planning, designing, and operating landside airport facilities.
The federal, state, and local statutes and regulations governing the design, bidding, construction, and maintenance of civil infrastructure.
Airport projects and the airport environment at a medium-hub commercial service airport
Principles and practice of public sector management and administration of airport policies and procedures
English grammar, spelling, punctuation
Principles and practices of basic bookkeeping
Modern office procedures, methods, and computer equipment
Skilled in:
Managing civil type construction and heavy maintenance projects.
Providing direction and oversight of consultants providing design and construction administration services for capital construction or maintenance projects.
Preparing construction, engineering, architectural, and other professional services budgets.
Appraising the work of engineering consultants and contractors and approving payments.
Managing landside bridge and tunnel inspection programs, improvements, and repairs.
Managing roadway signs and lighting system improvements.
Coordinating significant landside civil facility repairs and modifications.
Reviewing and approving tenant plans for facility development and modifications.
Making presentations to the Authority Board on project plans and progress.
Serving as liaison with other departments and divisions during construction, expansion, and renovations to ensure minimal impact to airport operations.
Organization and time management
Interpersonal skills necessary to develop and maintain effective and appropriate working relationships.
