    We are a Central Pennsylvania based Non-profit Hospice & Post-Acute Healthcare Organization specializing in home-centered care and we are seeking a talented Certified Nurse Assistant who will direct personal care, assist with ADL's according to the Hospice Plan of Care at Carolyn's House; our 6 bed residence located in Harrisburg PA. Under the direction of the Residence Manager and/or RN, LPN and as part of the Interdisciplinary team, the Hospice Aide will provide personal care services related to the well-being of Hospice patients whether assigned to the Hospice Residence or in the Field.

    All PRN positions have an expectation to adhere to the following guidelines:

    • PRN employees must attend each day of an agreed upon schedule for New Hire orientation.
    • Commit to working a minimum of two full shifts per calendar month.
    • One Holiday per calendar year.
    • PRN employees must attend Annual Hospice In-service days and meet annual training requirements.

    Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

    • Requires PA CNA Certification
    • Personal physical care of patients as assigned by the Residence Manager, LPN or RN
    • Observe the patient for changes in appearance or behavior and report to the Residence Manager or LPN
    • Complete documentation requirements in an accurate and timely manner as per policy and procedure
    • Assist with food preparation for residents and carry out necessary housekeeping/laundry to provide a quality, safe and sanitary environment for residents
