    The pipefitter is responsible for constructing hot water generation packages and components, conducting tests, painting assemblies, performing repairs, assessing, and packaging various other manufactured goods.


    Key Responsibilities


    • Reads blueprints, schematics, or similar documentation, then builds to those specifications.
    • Verifies information on production orders and prepare items for assembly
    • One to two years plumbing experience would be preferred but not required.
    • Determines method of assembly by utilizing knowledge of assembly routings and procedures
    • Understanding of basic power tools
    • Proper use of testing equipment
    • Appropriate gaging knowledge
    • Ability to perform work accurately and thoroughly
    • SPC quality system awareness
    • Compares identifying information, counts, weights, and verifies data against bills of materials
    • Organizes and keeps work area clean
    • High attention to detail and self-motivation skills
    • Uses various machines and hand tools to accomplish assigned tasks.
    • Maintains equipment and conveyors and performs basic repairs when needed.
    • Inventories tools, parts, and supplies; contacts materials handler if supplies are needed.
    • Periodically checks products per company policy to ensure quality and uniform completion; resolves any identified
    problems and alerts supervisor.


    • Performs other related duties as assigned.

    Key Requirements


    • Knowledge of soldering, experience preferred
    • Knowledge of and training in ISO9001:2015 a plus
    • Current forklift license preferred
    • Good communication skills
    • Detail-oriented and consistent.
    • Works well as a productive member of a team.
    • Ability to properly maintain and perform basic repairs on equipment.
    • Basic ability in mathematics, reading, or writing.

    High School or equivalent

    Physical Requirements


    • Repetitive bending, stooping, twisting, reaching.
    • Must be able to stand for extended periods.
    • Consistently lift 5-20 pounds (occasionally up to 50 lbs.)
    • Must have manual dexterity to assemble products or machines as directed.
    • Must have excellent hand-eye coordination.
    • Physical and Mental stamina to stand, walk, lift, and adjust to the noise and lighting of the
    manufacturing environment.


    • Must pass a pre-employee physical and drug screen.
