    Senior Sales Manager - Boston, United States - BioTalent

    Description

    We are on the lookout for a skilled Regional Sales Manager to join our team at a cutting-edge genomics biotech company with a focus on innovation. The role entails spearheading sales endeavors on the East Coast, playing a crucial part in boosting revenue for our advanced NGS product portfolio, covering sequencing instruments, lab automation systems, reagents, software, and end-to-end workflow solutions.

    • Identify and cultivate new sales prospects within the assigned region
    • Meet and surpass specified sales objectives
    • Create and execute strategic sales strategies in line with regional and company objectives
    • Nurture client relationships and establish partnerships with industry influencers
    • Deliver impactful product demonstrations and presentations, leveraging extensive product expertise
    • Leverage CRM tools (such as Salesforce) to uphold precise sales records and oversee the sales pipeline
    • Analyze customer requirements and market trends to offer valuable insights to product and marketing teams
    • Foster a synergistic work environment with internal teams (tele-sales, pre-sales, services) for optimum customer assistance

    Requirements

    • 3+ years of experience in selling NGS solutions (instruments, library kits, services) within the life sciences sector
    • Proven track record of achieving sales targets in a competitive setting
    • Outstanding communication, presentation, and interpersonal abilities with a proactive approach
    • Exceptional multitasking, prioritization, and time management skills
    • Proficiency in Salesforce or a similar CRM system
    • A minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Biology, Chemistry, Physical Sciences, or a related field; a Master's degree is desirable
    • Willingness to travel up to 40% of the time across the designated region
