    Description
    Position: OB Hospitalist and Midwife - Full-Time/Part-time

    Hospital : Novant Health Forsyth Medical Center

    Location: Winston-Salem, North Carolina

    Facility Overview:
    • 921-bed hospital acute care facility
    • Level IIIB NICU
    • Approximately 4,300 annual deliveries
    • In-house Anesthesia 24/7
    • MFM onsite 24/7
    • OBHG CNM coverage (21-hour coverage)
    • EMR: EPIC
    • The facility is a Center of Excellence in Minimally Invasive Gynecology and a NICHE Designated Hospital and has received NCQA Physician Quality Awards and Magnet Recognition . It also houses a breast center nationally accredited by the American College of Surgeons.
    Responsibilities (Location specific):
    • OBHG Hospitalists are responsible for all unassigned patients and any OB/Gyn emergencies
    • OBHG Hospitalists provide support to private practice physicians and CNMs
    Work Schedule:
    • Full-Time MD/DO: 5 or more 24-hour shifts per 28-day block
    • Full-Time CNM: 5 or more 21-hour shifts per 28-day block
    • Part-Time MD/DO: 1 to 4 24-hour shifts per 28-day block
    • Part-Time CNM: 1 to 4 21-hour shifts per 28-day block
