    SCI Technology has a terrific opportunity for a highly motivated manufacturing Senior Financial Analyst (SFA).

    This role is chartered with the continued development and implementation of a manufacturing labor performance measurement process that will provide SCI leaders at all levels of the organization with timely, insightful, and actionable manufacturing performance information.

    Job Purpose

    The Senior Financial Analyst (SFA) will have an active understanding of manufacturing labor costs, and advanced capabilities in compiling, analyzing, and presenting data as business intelligence.

    The successful candidate will provide insightful manufacturing cost analysis in conjunction with SCI Manufacturing and Finance leadership stakeholders.

    The successful candidate will become a key participant in the continued design, construction, and integration of tools related to cost analysis and forecasting, primarily centered on understanding the impact of direct labor costs.

    The SFA will be a key participant of a team tasked with defining and implementing the overall performance measurement architecture for direct manufacturing labor.

    Creativity, intelligence, adaptability, and problem-solving skills are essential elements for success. This will include fusion of actuals and percent complete assessments. On a recurring basis the analyst will continually evolve, refine, improve, and execute the performance measurement process. This will include direct and frequent interaction with all levels of Manufacturing Operations leadership from frontline supervisors to VP.

    Recurring activity will include analysis of variance to budget, supporting development of Manufacturing Operations' corrective actions plans, support to Estimate at Complete development, and support to manufacturing parametric estimating development.

    This role reports to the Director of Program Finance and will interact with numerous SCI functional departments, with a focus on Manufacturing Operations as well as Finance, Program Management, and Supply Chain Management.

    The position will be a high impact, high visibility role within SCI.

    Skills and Abilities:


    • The Senior Financial Analyst will establish clear output requirements in conjunction with SCI Manufacturing and Finance leadership stakeholders
    • Define and implement the overall performance measurement architecture for assigned manufacturing cost elements. This will include fusion of actuals and percent complete assessments ("earned vs burned")
    • On a recurring basis the analyst will continually evolve, refine, improve, and execute the performance measurement process. This will include direct and frequent interaction with all levels of Manufacturing Operations leadership from frontline supervisors to VP
    • Recurring activity will include analysis of variance to budget, supporting development of Manufacturing Operations' corrective actions plans, support to Estimate at Complete development, and support to manufacturing parametric estimating development
    • Assess, understand, synthesize, and integrate complex business datasets into concise information
    • Jointly further develop existing and additional Business Intelligence (BI) and Key Performance Indicator (KPI) requirements with stakeholders, and fulfill those requirements Qualifications and Characteristics of a

    Successful Candidate:

    • Ability to assess, understand, synthesize, integrate, and communicate complex business datasets into concise information.
    • Ability to summarize complex topics and communicate succinctly in both verbal and written formats.
    • Ability to jointly develop Estimates to Completes (ETC), Estimates at Completion, EAC), Business Intelligence (BI) and Key Performance Indicator (KPI) requirements with stakeholders, and fulfill those requirements.
    • Strong understanding of and experience with business/management information systems in a defense manufacturing environment including ERP/MRP principles and labor cost management.
    • Understanding of job cost manufacturing systems and basic FAR/CAS principles in a defense and/or commercial manufacturing environment.
    • Ability to interact with and build working relationships with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
    • Experience with SCI's existing management information systems is preferred (Oracle E-business suite/Oracle Projects, Oracle 11i, various manufacturing systems).
    • Proven ability to interpret, organize and analyze large amounts of data efficiently using modern business intelligence approaches
    • While accounting knowledge is required, the majority of the responsibilities for this role will be analytical in nature
    • Evidence of intermediate to advance skills in excel to include pivot tables, x/vLookups, data extraction and manipulation, data queries, macros/VBA, and charts.
    Minimum Education/Experience Requirements:


    • A bachelors degree in accounting, finance, mathematics, or a computer technology field, with 8 years experience in a manufacturing environment, or....A masters degree in an appropriate field,
    with 3 years experience in a manufacturing environment, or....Non-degree candidates with a minimum of 10 years in a manufacturing environment performing tasks representative of this position

    Other Requirements:


    • Experience with SCI's existing management information systems is preferred (Oracle E-business suite/Oracle Projects, Oracle 11i, various manufacturing systems)
    • Creativity, intelligence, adaptability, and problem-solving skills are essential elements for success
    • Must have strong computer skills to include MS Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint
