    Title: Junior SCCM Architect

    Duration: 6 Months with possible extensions

    Location: Remote Initial 1 week Onsite

    Description:

    Seeking a Junior SCCM Architect(s) to design, implement, and manage the SCCM infrastructure.

    Some of the tasks to be accomplished are: The SCCM update data needs enhanced validation processes, distribution channels need to be secured, technology needs to be simplified and scaled to support secure and accurate management of SCCM updates, and risk-related to employee transitions needs to be mitigated.

    Key duties include developing SCCM strategy, overseeing the IT environment's health, compliance auditing, and leading initiatives for process improvement. This role requires advanced technical knowledge of SCCM, strong leadership skills, and experience in IT governance. The SCCM Architect plays a crucial role in enhancing system management and supporting organizational IT objectives.

    Qualifications:

    • Degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field or equivalent experience
    • Minimum 6 years of experience with SCCM including deployment, management, and troubleshooting.
    • Strong understanding and experience with Windows Server environments, Active Directory, and network infrastructure.
    • Proficiency in scripting languages (e.g., PowerShell).
    • Relevant certifications (e.g., Microsoft Certified: SCCM, ITIL).

    Responsibilities:

    • To validate current SCCM state/Understand and investigate known areas of concern and identify new areas of concern, quantify relevant issues, opportunities, and constraints, and come up with a Remediation Program, Options, and Priority Rankings
    • Prioritize and authorize remediation projects, begin execution on prioritized remediation activities deliverables: Project prioritization and authorization and delivering project scope of work.
    • Design and implement SCCM architecture to meet organizational needs.
    • Manage software deployments, updates, and patches.
    • Ensure system security and compliance with industry standards.
    • Lead process improvement initiatives.
    • Provide mentorship and technical guidance to team members.
