    Maintenance Supervisor

    Job Description

    Job Brief:
    The Restaurant Maintenance Supervisor is responsible for the overall maintenance and upkeep of a restaurant facility. This includes ensuring all systems are functioning properly, responding quickly to any maintenance needs, and executing preventative maintenance measures.


    Responsibilities:

    • Inspect the restaurant facility on a regular basis to identify and resolve any maintenance issues
    • Respond quickly to any customer complaints related to the maintenance of the facility
    • Execute preventative maintenance measures as necessary to ensure the long-term health of the restaurant
    • Maintain and repair any damaged or malfunctioning equipment or systems in the restaurant
    • Perform regular health, safety checks, and keep records of maintenance activities
    • Monitor inventory of replacement parts, tools, and materials
    • Schedule and coordinate with external contractors for specialized repairs and services
    • Supervise a team of maintenance staff, including hiring, training, and scheduling

    Skills Required:
    Drive to other business locations as needed, occasional latenight duty
    Frequently kneeling, bending, squatting, pushing, pulling and reaching above and below waist level
    Lifting and carrying, with assistance, of items up to 125 pounds, work on ladders, roofs, and in rare cases, high precarious places
    Work with moving mechanical parts, pressurized equipment, open flames, heated surfaces, liquids and risk of electrical shock
    Interactions may vary from informational to instructional in nature when communicating with restaurant staff and vendors
    Heavy phone & email communication
    2+ years related experience as a maintenance supervisor
    Must be bilingual in english and spanish
