    Job Description:

    The Role:

    • Clients high-profile SoC Platform Engineering team is seeking a hardworking system-engineering lab technician to help test the latest SoC products and contribute to issue identification, replication, and problem resolution. This role will be pivotal in bringing Clients next generation SoC based products into Data Center products.

    The Person:

    • Technician is responsible for the deployment of NPI engineering projects involving Client IP (Silicon, HW, SW) and debug of Client server hardware infrastructure.

    Responsibilities:

    • Rack and stack server across Datacenter environment.
    • Maintain power and network cable standard per defined Client Datacenter guidelines.
    • Maintain inventory of assets and lab infrastructure across programs.
    • Engage with internal stakeholders in product planning, development, and validation activities.
    • Track and report status vs. objectives throughout the lifecycle of the program

    Preferred Skills and Attributes:

    • Excellent communication and leadership skills, both written and oral
    • High attention to detail and good follow through in a fast-paced environment
    • Experience in areas of data center system deployment and asset management.
    • Familiarity with testing tools, methodologies, and defect tracking
    • Ability to function independently with little direct supervision.
    • Should be able to travel on short notices.
    • Physical Requirements Candidate needs to be able to lift 50lbs and be flexible enough to get under a raised floor as needed.

    EDUCATION:

    • 1+ years experience in high tech industry
    • Relevant bachelors degree or equivalent experience
    • Skilled in MS Office tool suites, Confluence, MS SharePoint
