Job summary
This is part-time security and customer service work of routine difficulty in patrolling and safeguarding multiple parking garages and providing customer service and information to the public.Responsibilities
- Patrols an assigned area in and around City garages; secures doors and windows; reports fire hazards and other security issues
- Performs surveillance of City property by observing television monitors and responding to incidents observed
- Reports disturbances or suspicious circumstances which require police presence
- Operate communication systems, such as assigned radios and other security related equipment
- writes incident reports as necessary on unusual security issues
