    Job Overview:

    An experienced executive level position requiring proven knowledge of financial services accounting, financial reporting, budget planning, business analytics, project management, team building and relationship building.

    Reports To:

    This position reports directly to the CEO and CFO.

    Responsibilities & Duties:

    Oversees all financial accounting and payroll services activities and the coordination of financial planning, budgeting, cash flow analysis, and policy matters as directed by the CEO and CFO.

    • Direct all aspects of accounting operations, including payroll, receivables, payables, balance sheet management and financial reporting.
    • Oversees finance department's organized workflow, and direct employee activity.
    • Create and manage internal controls that safeguard company assets.
    • Improve administrative and operational accounting services.\
    • Maintain lines of communication with the CEO and CFO informing both of all critical issues.
    • Present to the board of directors the financial condition of the company.
    • Mentor, develop and cross-train the Finance Department's staff.
    • Establish and monitor staff performance and developmental goals, establish priorities, assign accountability, and evaluate results.
    • Lead the annual budget process and oversee the company's annual operating expenditures.
    • Work with financial institution(s) concerning banking activity.
    • Responsible for all liability and various company insurance coverages.

    Qualifications: An experienced finance individual with a business and accounting degree, preferably a certified public accountant (CPA) and minimum 10+ years' experience in a senior management role.

    • Bachelor's accounting degree, a master's in business administration preferred.
    • Minimum 10+-years' documented experience in senior management finance role.
    • CPA preferred.
    • Expert level knowledge of IFRS/GAAP concepts and principles.
    • Proven track record of management skills, good problem solver, and strong communication skills.
    • Excellent negotiation skills.
    • Self-reliant, problem solver and results oriented.
    • Excellent computer skills and proficient in electronic spreadsheets and Accounting Software systems.
    • Exceptional organizational and time management skills.
    • In-depth understanding of financial services products and services.
    • Ability to interface with senior management and board of directors.
