JT4, LLC provides engineering and technical support tomultiple
western test ranges for the U.S. Air Force, Space Force, and Navy under the Joint Range Technical Services Contract, better known as J-Tech II.
JT4 develops and maintains realistic, integrated test and training environments and prepares our nation's war-fighting aircraft, weapons systems, and aircrews for today's missions and tomorrow's global challenges.

Job duties of a System Administrator includes, but is not limited to, working under general technical guidance to support systems within a real-time mission support environment.
The System Administrator will be responsible for the hardware operation and maintenance of mission recorders such as Chapter 10 Heim recorders and the operation and maintenance of the ACTFAST system.
The System Administrator will be cross utilized in other sections of the department and will be required to learn to operate and maintain said systems.
A subset of these systems include the Mission Control System (MCS)/IADS system, voice communication distribution system, situational awareness system, and data transport system.
The System Administrator is responsible for leading work center personnel in resolving real-time mission support anomalies of the aforementioned systems.
The candidate will be knowledgeable in operating systems such as Windows 10, Windows Server 2012/2016, and Linux based systems.The candidate shall implement and enforce new and update existing system administration policies.
The candidate shall identify network and system administration weaknesses and problem areas, as well as provide recommendations for corrective actions and possess both the knowledge and the ability to troubleshoot information systems, networks, and equipment.
The candidate will write acceptance test/certification procedures for new or changes to existing systems and train others to perform this process.
The selected candidate will be required to provide real-time operational mission support within the various sections of the work center, will maintain equipment to include problem isolation and repair to the lowest repairable unit level.
The candidate will perform Preventative Maintenance Inspection (PMI) activities on applicable equipment and will develop and maintain PMI procedures as required.
The candidate will develop, modify, and review Operating Instructions for general network and system administration tasks as required. The candidate will implement and adhere to all Informational Assurance requirements. The candidate will work other tasks as assigned.The candidate will interface directly with customers as needed and must be able to resolve simple to complex problems in a high-pressure real-time mission environment.
The candidate must be willing to work nonstandard tours of duties, which includes nights, weekends, and overtime. The overtime may be short or no notice.The candidate must be able to obtain and maintain a DoD security clearance up to Top Secret with Special Access.
The candidatemust be able to obtain and maintain CompTIA Security+ certification within 6 months of date hired .
The candidate must be able to work independently or as a member of a team and have strong verbal and written communications skills.
HIGHLY DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS
Having experience with configuring Junos and KG-175 equipment
Experience in operating and maintaining voice communication distribution system equipment and/or the Mission Control System (MCS)/IADS systems.
Having experience and knowledge of change management processes such as Engineering Change Requests (ECRs), ECR Responses (ECRRs), and Configuration Change Requests (CCRs) is highly desired.
Having an active DoD secret security clearance and possess a current CompTIA Security+ certification.REQUIREMENTS - EDUCATION, TECHNICAL AND WORK EXPERIENCE
Associates or higher degree in Computer/Information Technology, or equivalent academic/technical training. Possess 7 years related experience or combination of experience in computer system basics and/or related areas of expertise. Must possess and apply a broad knowledge of principles, practices and procedures in computer science, graphics, and information systems.
Must have specific experience in the use of MS window server environments and various CAD/CAM, database, MS Office and Web enabled applications The incumbent must possess planning/organizing skills and must be able to work under deadlines.
Employee is expected to routinely cross fields in the completion of somewhat difficult and varied assignments.The
incumbent must possess
a valid, state issued driver's license.
Must be able to obtain and maintain security clearance.

SALARY
The expected salary range for this position is $67,392 to $
85,220 annually.

WORKING CONDITIONS
This position involves work typical of an office environment with no unusual hazards.
There is occasional lifting (up to 20 pounds), constant sitting and use of a computer terminal, constant use of sight abilities while writing, reviewing, and editing documents, constant use of speech/hearing abilities for communication, and constant mental alertness.
