    • Develop Cloud-native backend services using NodeJS and JavaScript/TypeScript. Being Proficient in Python is a plus.
    • Hands-on experience with the AWS Serverless stack.

    API Development:
    Create and maintain RESTful APIs that enable seamless
    communication between the frontend and backend systems. Ensure APIs are well-documented, performant, and secure.

    Testing and Debugging:
    Conduct thorough testing of backend components and APIs to
    identify and resolve bugs, bottlenecks, and performance issues. Implement and
    maintain automated testing processes to ensure code quality.

    Performance Optimization:
    Monitor backend performance, identify areas of
    improvement, and implement optimizations to enhance system scalability, response
    times, and resource utilization.

    Security and Compliance:
    Implement security best practices and measures to safeguard
    backend systems from potential threats and vulnerabilities. Ensure compliance with
    relevant data protection and privacy regulations.

    Code Reviews and Collaboration:
    Participate in code reviews to provide constructive
    feedback to team members and maintain code quality. Collaborate with frontend
    developers and DevOps engineers to ensure seamless integration between backend
    and frontend components.

    Continuous Integration and Deployment:
    Work closely with the DevOps team to
    automate build, deployment, and scaling processes using CI/CD pipelines.

    Documentation:
    Create and maintain technical documentation, including architectural
    designs, API documentation, and system diagrams, to ensure proper understanding and
    maintenance of the backend infrastructure.


    • Work closely with Architects, Technical leads, Product owner, and others to drive
    towards a common vision.


    • Actively participate in code reviews of their code and that of peers.
    • Work in fast-paced development using agile methodologies.
    • Adhere to Autodesk's internal quality standards.
    • Collaborate with a distributed team and stakeholders.
    • Be a passionate and empathetic advocate of architecture, design, and software
    engineering principles.


    QUALIFICATIONS

    • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related
    field.


    • 10+ years of experience as a Backend Developer with expertise in AWS services and
    infrastructure.


    • Solid understanding of fundamental web technologies such as HTTP, REST, AJAX and

    JSON

    • Experience in Micro-services, REST API / Open API architecture/development.
    • Experience in building API's that integrate with SAP S4 HANA is a Plus.
    • Strong hands-on experience with Node, RESTful API, Microservices frameworks.
    • Proficiency in programming languages like Python, Java, or JavaScript.
    • Strong understanding of cloud-based architecture, serverless computing, and
    microservices.


    • Hands-on experience with AWS services such as Lambda, EventBridge, SQS, SNS, API
    Gateway, DynamoDB, RDS, CloudFormation, etc.


    • In-depth knowledge of database systems, both SQL and NoSQL, and their use cases.
    • Familiarity with containerization technologies like Docker and container orchestration
    platforms like Kubernetes is a plus.


    • Understanding of security principles, authentication, and authorization mechanisms in
    AWS.


    • Experience with version control systems like Git.
    • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a collaborative team
    environment.


    • Excellent communication skills and the ability to explain complex technical concepts
    to non-technical stakeholders
