    In this highly visible, fast-paced, and challenging position, you'll collaborate with multidisciplinary team members to provide the very best care for our patients.

    The PC Maintenance Tech Maintains provides day-to-day technical support on end user device hardware with a primary focus on Mobile Device Management.

    Install, configure and troubleshoot end user devices including wireless phones and tablets, desktops, laptops, printers, scanners and all other IS equipment at all MHS campuses and clinics.

    Functions as a hospital liaison and critical systems consultant to all hospital departments and clinics.


    Your Job Requirements:

    • Associates degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or equivalent degree is preferred
    • Equivalent experience in a Client/Server environment can be substituted.
    • CompTIA-A+, CompTIA-Network, Microsoft Certified Professional (MCP), Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA)
    • 2 years working experience in a Client/Server operations environment. Preference will be given for experience in a multi-site operation running on current Microsoft Operating Systems and supporting a Mobile Device Management platform.
    • Previous experience in Healthcare Information Services preferred.
    • Ability to effectively communicate in English, both written and verbally, with technical and non-technical users.

    Your Job Responsibilities:

    • Adhere to procedures used to evaluate new technology while analyzing and making recommendations for hardware and software standardization.
    • Round on a regular basis with hospital departments and provide highly accurate documentation using Share Point and ticketing systems.
    • Facilitate successful completion of IS projects on a timely basis while focusing on procedures that maximize successful implementation and management of Client/ Server systems.
    • Maintain highly available departmental systems to maximize the customers' ability to perform key business processes while minimizing downtime.
    • Maintaining best practice procedures for testing and deploying mobile devices, desktop and laptops, including monitoring and support software. This includes proper change management approval for new system deployments or changes. Additionally, this includes adhering to IS Security protocols.
    • Maintains standard and customary documentation practices throughout IS Operations.
    • All duties to be performed with the understanding that customer service, collaborative communication, and teamwork are three fundamental principles in the IS Operations framework.
