Job summary
We are looking for an experienced Assistant Controller to lead our accounting team in preparing GAAP compliant financial statements and supporting our operations teams with financial insights that allow them to drive the growth and success of Empower Behavioral Health forward.This position also provides some oversight and support to the Controller of our sister company Circle of Care (a leader in pediatric speech, physical, and occupational therapy for children from birth through twenty years old throughout Texas).

- Mentor, train, support, and develop accounting staff: Staff Accountant/Payroll Specialist,
- AP Specialist
- and Controller for sister company.
- Foster an environment of strong cross-collaboration and inclusivity.
- Serves as back-up to accounting staff in Payroll and AP functions.
