Data Architect Level 3

Annapolis Junction, Maryland

Hours:
Regular Full-Time

Clearance Requirements

This position requires a current and active TS/SCI with Poly at the time of application.

What you will be doing:

Defines policies, procedures, models and technologies that will be used to collect, organize, store and retrieve information for the organization.

Defines strategic requirements, integrated system design that aligns with business architecture.

Understands business needs, explores existing data structure and creates integrated framework of scalable, reliable and secure data that supports organization's dataanalysis and reporting outcomes.

Develop and implement organizational data strategy aligned with business processes and analytic goalsIdentify internal and external data sources and developing data management plan aligned with organizational data strategyCoordinate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders for efficient functioning of enterprise data systemsManage end-to-end data architecture, select platforms, design technical architecture and provide input into development, testing and implementation of proposed solutionsIntegrate technical functionality, ensure data accessibility, accuracy and securityConduct continuous audit of data management systems and processesPosition Requirements

Minimum Requirements:

Experience:
Ten (10) years of experience in data architecture on programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity.

Five (5) years of experience in data engineering and technical data analysisEducation:

Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in Computer Science or related discipline.

Four (4) years of additional database structure and data mining experience may be substituted for a bachelor's degree.

Physical Demands:
This is largely a sedentary role; however, some filing is required. This would require the ability to move files, open filing cabinets and bend or stand as necessary.
