    Make your mark for patients The Regional Sales Lead HS Dermatology/West will lead field-based teams to develop and implement business strategies that maximize our business opportunities and bring value to patients suffering from Dermatologic diseases.


    This role covers the West region includes:
    areas such as Dallas, Texas, Chicago, Phoenix, California, Midwest, Seattle, Minneapolis, Denver, Texas, Gulf Coast etc.

    The RSL will work in partnership to ensure strategies and tactics are executed in full compliance of all federal and state laws and UCB policies.

    As the face of UCB to our key customers and employees, the RSL is expected to fully embrace and live UCB's vision, mission and values and hold their management teams accountable for the same standards of performance and leadership behaviors.

    The Regional Sales Lead HS will be required to demonstrate an excellence in core UCB Stakeholder Facing Competencies that lead to achievement of goals for the Dermatology Sales Team.

    Develop and implement regional sales strategies in partnership with the US Immunology Team, Managed Markets and other customer facing teams in alignment with established commercial plan.

    Drive cross-functional collaboration across the enterprise and within the region.

    As a sales leader, motivates District Sales Leads and Clinical Account Specialists to attain sales objectives for assigned products and to prepare for the potential future launch of new dermatology assets.

    Role model behaviors aligned with fully living the vision and mission and Patient Value Strategies of UCB. Build leadership and management skills in District Managers. Create a culture of resiliency and persistence throughout the region. Explain and advocate for organizational decisions, particularly during periods of change. Recruit, retain and develop a highly talented diverse team to secure UCB's success. Establish productive business relationships with key regional advocates within our therapeutic areas.

    Provide strategic input to Marketing and Commercial personnel for development and continued evolution of the marketing plan for our products.

    Set high but achievable performance targets for regional success by analyzing data including business statistics and customer feedback.

    Contribute to the creation of a common culture within the iPVU that supports the UCB vision, mission and Patient values and measure performance to establish a sustainable competitive advantage.

    Establish and monitor company asset utilization (budgets, resources). Identify emerging policies and trends that may affect UCB products.

    50% travel is required You will contribute by:

    Minimum Qualifications:
    Bachelor's degree required Minimum of 8 years of pharmaceutical industry experience with 5 years of Management level experience in pharmaceuticals Experience leading in the Dermatology therapeutic area Knowledge and application of business planning and leadership principles such as data analysis, goal setting, action plans, monitoring tools to develop and implement business plans Experience with advocacy development within a specialty framework highly desired

    Preferred Qualifications:

    Demonstrated healthcare experience and success in positions outside of sales - ideally in one of marketing, market research, sales analytics, business development, managed markets, government relations.

    Prior experience in the Dermatology marketplace is preferred. Proven knowledge and application of marketing information, strategies and tactics leading to measurable results.

    Demonstrated successful leadership experience, including but not limited to successful development of people, engagement of employees and customers, retaining high performing talent, identifying and developing high potential, building successful teams Ability to achieve results within a highly regulated marketing environment Internal applicants should be in their current job for at least 12 months, must meet performance standards and are not on formal corrective/disciplinary process (PIP), warning, final warning, or compliance warning letters within the last 12 months.
