    Job Family Finance & Accounting Consulting Travel Required Up to 10% Clearance Required Ability to Obtain Public Trust What You Will Do The Financial Management Managing Consultant helps our clients transform their business processes, improve internal controls, improve efficiency of operations, increase transparency and performance management, and to comply with Federal laws and regulations.

    The nature of our projects is extremely fluid and requires self-motivated individuals that are willing to develop solutions on their own or in a team of highly skilled professionals.

    Project members are provided the opportunity to interact with our clients' senior management, as well as the opportunity to enhance their skills in the area of technical competency, business development, client service and people development.

    Bachelor's degree
    Master's degree in Accounting
    Certified Governmental Financial Manager (CGFM)

    Knowledge and success in advising federal clients in improving internal controls over financial reporting and meeting the requirements of related federal guidance and requirements, including : OMB Circular A-123, Appendix A and C, the GAO Green Book, the Chief Financial Officers Act of 1990, Federal Managers' Financial Integrity Act of 1982 (FMFIA), and Improper Payments Elimination and Recovery Improvement Act (IPERIA).

    Experience with Internal control assessments, entity level controls, risk management, and fraud risk assessments, supporting management control programs, understanding deficiencies communicated by the auditor, tracking audit PBC requests, responding to audit requests, developing corrective action plans, and executing remediation with a focus on internal controls over financial reporting and management financial statement assertions.

    Demonstrates the ability to understand client needs, participate within a team environment, and communicate throughout internal and external network in a manner that allows for successful execution of tasks
    Demonstrates proven thorough abilities and success as a team leader: creating a positive environment by monitoring workloads of the team while meeting client expectations and respecting the work-life quality of team members; Willingness to learn and participate in business development activities and internal firm objectives
