    Description

    About the role Adecco's Manager in Training Program offers a dynamic four-month on-the-job training experience designed to cultivate future leaders in the staffing industry.

    Program participants will undergo a comprehensive training curriculum paired with rotational assignments designed to provide a strong knowledge of our business while preparing participants with the necessary skills for future management-level openings.

    As an integral part of the Manager in Training program, you will work closely with the Area Leader and seasoned managers to immerse yourself in people leadership, operations, financial management, and sales.

    Managers in training will be required to travel to Branches and Onsite within the geographical footprint.

    After successfully completing the program, Managers in Training will be expected to relocate to fulfill vacancies in Branch Manager, Onsite Manager, or Market Development roles across the East Coast.


    Branch Management:

    Assists with managing day-to-day colleague performance management including coaching and development, to ensure all service levels and performance metrics are met.

    Creates branch recruitment strategies by developing a digital presence and local relationships with recruiting resources including, colleges, Work Source centers, trade schools, and grassroots.

    Maintains general knowledge of the Adecco Group's service portfolio and can price and sell services (conversions, temporary and perm placement business).

    Identifies, pursues, and develops new accounts through awareness of local market(s), competitor activities, and community growth plans.

    Performs daily sales activities including building a sales pipeline, cold calls, visits, execution of proposals, pricing, and contract negotiations.

    Onsite Management
    Builds and maintains knowledge of target industries, clients, roles, market share, and competition by communicating our value proposition.
    Continuously strive for innovation through enhanced processes, policies, and procedures – while meeting established KPIs and SLAs.
    Supports daily management of recruiting team activities including sourcing, submittals, and interviews.
    Provides coaching and counseling around job performance to associates as necessary.
    Provides feedback and support to help candidates overcome barriers.
    Evaluates customer and Associate satisfaction via surveys and interviews.
    Assist with management of onsite P&L and exercising cost control decisions.
    Performs collection of all outstanding accounts receivable.
    Develop a short-term growth plan to assist in closing one deal before program completion.

    Identify and close a new sales opportunity displaying your knowledge of the market geography, economic environment, top companies, and competitors in the temporary staffing space.

    Collaborate with centralized teams to drive sales activity, including central recruitment, sales, and operations.

    Take on progressively increasing responsibilities managing teams to achieve company goals and objectives.
    Receive feedback and coaching on performance to continuously improve abilities.

    A high school diploma or equivalent and 3 –5 years of relevant work experience in customer service or sales.

    Candidates must a valid driver's license and reliable transportation for required travel within geographical footprint.
    Ability to work Monday – Friday during standard business hours.
    Ability to communicate effectively and clearly in writing and orally in one-on-one and group discussions and presentations.
    Ability to interact and communicate with all levels of staff and management.
    Ability to manage multiple tasks, meet deadlines and handle numerous problems simultaneously.
    Ability to travel up to 50% within assigned territory.

    Proficient with Microsoft Office products, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
