- with Quality to ensure the Food Safety and Security Programs are followed to assess potential food safety and security risks and to ensure food safety and security preventive measures are being implemented and routinely audited regarding the manufacturing, handling, and storage of all food ingredients as well as finished goods.
- production quotas and schedules, ensuring inventory and shipment targets are met.
- with supply chain department to verify, review, maintain, and report on materials and production inventories.
- that appropriate standard operating procedures (SOP's) are developed and maintained for all aspects of the business.

- Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in operations, maintenance, engineering and/or process improvement roles including managing teams of people.
- Previous experience working in a Lean environment in the Food/Beverage industry.
- Familiarity with regulatory bodies (e.g. EPA, FDA, OSHA, etc.)
- Experience with start-up and/or expansion of manufacturing capabilities.
- Demonstrated ability to build and develop high-performing teams.
- Champion of workplace and food safety culture.
- Bilingual- English/Spanish is a plus.

The Plant Manager provides leadership and direction to the plant in all areas of responsibility including, people, production, quality, safety, and maintenance functions. This position is responsible for the day-to-day operations and site-specific strategic plan execution to ensure production goals are met in the most cost-effective manner, delivering expected financial results.
