    Description

    The ideal candidate will responsible for managing all marketing functions across the company. This includes marketing initiatives company wide as well as helping individual locations develop and implement marketing strategies and initiatives at the local level. Focus on executing effective marketing initiatives that help grow brand awareness and sales.

    Job Tasks

    • Smile and maintain a positive attitude at all times
    • Follow all Chickie's & Pete's service, operational and company standards
    • Set, and track, specific goals and objectives for the marketing aspect of the business
    • Produce weekly/monthly/yearly reports and snapshots that include key performance indicators (KPI's) for marketing at the company and store level
    • Monitor, measure results and track the ROI for all specials and promotions
    • Create graphics for company promotions and initiatives such as advertisements, point of sale, catering, food truck, social media and website
    • Ensure we are delivering a consistent marketing message to Guests
    • Manage relationships with organizations like the Philadelphia Eagles, Flyers, minor league teams, Beer and liquor companies, and all other associated groups.
    • Establish and maintain client base of individuals, organizations, associations, and businesses
    • Work as a liaison between 3rd party marketing companies and Chickie's and Pete's as well as
    • Manage relationships with 3rd party delivery companies, including menus and pricing
    • Assist with all aspects of the Chickie's & Pete's menu
    • Monitor and respond to comments posted on 3rd party food review websites such as, OpenTable, Google and Yelp
    • Manage social media coordinator direct report and work together to ensure that Chickie's & Pete's is engaging with its guests
    • Oversight of all social media accounts on both a company and store level. Focus on increasing users, engagement, and trends
    • Lead monthly marketing meetings with key leadership
    • Attend company events and promotions to ensure they go as planned
    • Manage the company website and as assist with updated content as the business requires
    • Develop and distribute roll-out guides for company initiatives and promotions.
    • Help develop more effective in-store marketing tactics and merchandising
    • Manage and schedule radio and TV shows broadcast from Chickie's & Pete's, as well as other store special events
    • Ensure proper email collection methods are in place and develop and implement e-marketing strategy for upcoming events and promotions
    • Develop and manage company marketing budget company wide and by location
    • Manage and/or develop marketing rep/social media ambassadors at locations as needed
    • Manage all advertising and PR opportunities and develop quarterly/yearly calendars
    • Seek additional marketing and PR opportunities
    • Assist with the purchasing of media including TV, radio, print, digital, etc.
    • Visit restaurants and work with GM's of each location to develop and implement a monthly local store marketing calendar
    • Develop and distribute a quarterly newsletter for internal Team members
    • Assist with promoting the brand to new management recruits or interns at events such as college job fairs
    • Assist on operational aspects of the business including new restaurant openings
    • Actively network, prospect and qualify new business for the brand
    • Additional tasks as assigned

    Main Responsibilities and Knowledge

    Guest Service: Must consistently be able to assess, anticipate and meet Guests' needs and respond quickly to feedback without losing focus or projecting a mood that detracts from the Guests' overall experience.

    Communication: Must clearly communicate in a professional manner with Guests, vendors, coworkers and management. They must understand instructions, read written company memorandums and communicate when they need more direction or training.

    Schedule: Must be highly flexible to work, and travel as necessary, at all times of the day, including weekends for special events and promotions. Schedule will be hybrid between, Chickie's & Pete's Headquarters, travel on site to restaurant locations and work from home.

    Interpersonal Relationships: Must adapt to different personalities of Guests and coworkers without losing focus.

    Teamwork: Working together as a team is a critical success factor of any restaurant or organization. Establishing good working relationships is key to maintaining a team-oriented work environment.

    Sales Techniques and Guest Influence: Must understand all Chickie's & Pete's products, services, and events, especially those that are location specific. Must have the ability to create and distribute marketing materials that will peak Guest interest and continue to grow brand loyalty and recognition.

    Performing General Physical Activities: Must be able to stand for long periods of time.

    Problem Solving and Conflict Management: Must recognize a problem when it arises and be able to resolve it appropriately by using good judgement, tact and initiative according to company policy and procedure.

    Quality Control and Priority Assessment: Must evaluate current practices and processes; immediately recognize potential areas of conflict; and initiate ways to improve current business methods, quality of products and services provided.

    Language Skills: Must speak and write with excellent command of the English language including proper spelling and grammar. Must ensure that marketing materials, digital, print, tv or audio are free from error such as typos, misspelling or misprints.

    Time Management Skills: Must know and use methods and organizational techniques to delegate appropriate tasks and manage direct reports.

    Analytical Skills: Must possess a strong understanding of data analysis and interpret that data to the Operations team; this includes website traffic, social media engagement, promotional sales, event sales vs prior years, etc. General accounting, computer and math skills required. Must use logic and reasoning to identify solutions and alternatives for a successful outcome to problems.

    Computer Skills: Must be proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc.). Highly preferred to be proficient in graphic design and marketing apps such as Canva, Adobe Photoshop, Google Analytics, Mailchimp, Survey Monkey, Adobe Acrobat, Adobe Illustrator. Must have a high proficiency in social media apps, Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, X (formerly Twitter), Snapchat, LinkedIn and YouTube.

    Qualifications

    Education:

    Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications or related field preferred.

    Experience and skills:

    • Minimum 5 years of proven marketing experience, including creative work and marketing plan development and implementation
    • Experience in Canva, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Creative Suite for both photo and video
    • Google Analytics, Online Advertising and/or Social Media channels
    • Knowledge and understanding of the restaurant industry is highly preferred
    • In-depth experience in planning and executing marketing strategy, initiatives and tactics across traditional and digital channels
    • Strong understanding of lead generation best practices
    • Website content management experience a plus
    • Proven ability to effectively manage multiple priorities and deadlines
    • Proven ability to successfully manage relationships with a variety of personalities
    • Proficient oral, written and organization skills
    • Proficient in writing copy for marketing material
