Sanitation Lead - Anaheim

Job summary
The Sanitization Lead is responsible for dismantling and cleaning MFG and Packaging equipment including removing hoppers covers lids screens port valves side covers where applicable dusters polisher assemblies scoops plastic buckets plastic drums material handling containers guiding the sanitation team in minor and major cleans assisting with environmental data logger monitoring ensuring MSS is completed at the frequency given assisting production on gummy lines when sanitation duties are not being performed supports cleaning sanitizing processing walls lift covers air vents floors strip doors etc The Sanitation Lead will only use approved chemicals follow safety guidelines All Lock Out/Tag Out procedures must be followed The Sanitation Lead reports to the Supervisor receives direction training scheduling other sanitation issues meet companys cGMPs cleaning SOPs- Disassemble clean sanitize processing equipment such as kettles CFA cooling tunnels incline conveyors z elevators bottling packaging equipment scoops components parts directed by Sanitation Supervisor
- Cleans sanitizes production room walls ceilings light fixtures air vents strip doors floors other production accessories required
- Maintains all process/cleaning log books assuring all steps manufacturing cleaning directions followed MeriCals SOPs cGMPs Measure mix solutions per instructions by Sanitation Supervisor Must read write understand English write routine reports necessary correspondence Ability add subtract multiply divide units measure using whole numbers common fractions decimals Ability apply common sense understandings carry out instructions furnished written oral diagram form Must climb stairs ladders work tight constricted places safe efficient manner Must stand hours able lift lbs Respond data logger deviations Assist collecting environmental programs samples Assist waste pick up Assist production gummy lines when Major Minor cleans MSS tasks being performed Bachelor degree Business Administration Supply Chain Management related field Highschool Diploma equivalent Previous Lead experience years sanitation years working food manufacturing facility Familiarity production environment pr packaging experience plus Experience working chemicals knowledge usage
