You'll lead supplier quality efforts for ODM JDM and CEM partners driving performance improvements and supporting global manufacturing operations This role offers high autonomy and impact acting as the key liaison between suppliers product development and operations Ideal candidates bring expertise in supplier quality management strong analytical skills for data-driven decisions and a passion for continuous improvement Expect opportunities to travel internationally and collaborate on innovative projects that define the future of audio technology

Responsibilities:

• Qualify suppliers purchased components and products for sale including validation of supplier processes evaluation of required characteristics / specifications according to Shure standards Ensure that suppliers deliver parts materials services by developing production part approval package requirements creating or modifying inspection instructions coordinating the evaluation disposition of suspect material obtaining documented root cause analysis & corrective/preventative actions via SCAR system when necessary Actively represent SQ interests participating in commodity/product teams liaising w/Prod Dev Eng Mgt Metrology PQ mfg on new/revised spec definitions hardware specs ensuring purchasing specifications meet expectations Implement best practice methodologies using ISO guidelines SPC problem-solving tools Facilitate technical communication between Shure & OEMs resolving technical issues aligning Specs Participate in dev'g methods/equipment across site requirements Conduct audits onsite at Suppliers locations virtually Ensuring our customers will receive reliable service
