    The Supply Chain Supervisor provides leadership for the branch's day-to-day supply chain operations related to procurement, inventory, warehousing, and fleet management.

    Essential Duties & Responsibilities

    • Branch supply chain focal point in terms of leadership and competency. Member of branch leadership team.
    • Advocate of Fortis and branch safety protocols and practices.
    • ERP branch super user of supply chain modules.
    • Buyer of goods and services as required.
    • Assists departments in obtaining information on requested products and in the preparation of purchase specifications. Solicits and evaluates bids.
    • Issues purchase orders according to proper policies and procedures. Reviews and monitors incoming requisitions, confirming orders.
    • Interviews sales representatives and evaluates vendor performance.
    • Provides technical guidance to ensure compliance with professional and departmental standards.
    • Serves as a resource in solving customer or vendor problems.
    • Investigates discrepancies and reports findings, such as vendor invoice and inventory discrepancies.
    • Supervises warehouse inventory and maintains ERP system to maintain accurate inventory levels.
    • Conducts periodic cycle and physical inventory counts of warehouse and technician inventories.
    • Implements daily picking and staging requirements, arranging for excess stock to be stored in warehouse.
    • Receives new deliveries by matching to Purchase Orders.
    • Supervises daily flow of staged items by modifying storage space assignments.
    • Confirms availability of items by verifying inventory records or conducting inventories of required items.
    • Identifies and reports slow-moving inventory. Established min-max levels on warehouse and technician stocks.
    • Supervises branch vehicle fleet in line with Fortis fleet management program.
    • Collaborates with Fortis Director of Supply Chain and other branch supply chain leads on supply chain initiatives.

    Required Qualifications

    • Education – High school diploma or GED
    • 3 years of experience in procurement and warehousing in a service and/or construction environment
    • 3 years of experience using Procurement and Inventory modules of ERP systems
    • 3 years of experience using MS-Outlook and MS-Excel (basic knowledge)

    Preferred Qualification

    • Experience with Sprinkler, Alarm, and Suppression products

    Compensation $90,000

    Physical Requirements

    While performing the duties of this job, the Team member is regularly required to use hands to finger, handle, or feel and talk or hear. The Team member is frequently required to reach with hands and arms and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The Team member is frequently required to stand, walk, sit, and climb stairs, or balance. The Team member must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus
