JOB SUMMARY This is a role in Operations focused on handling product-receiving tasks, operating warehouse equipment, and carrying out related responsibilities as needed.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Inspect and count all products received against purchase orders for quality and quantity.
• Report any discrepancies on purchase orders to warehouse management.
• Ensure drivers are properly positioned before unloading and document any issues.
• Coordinate with lumper service for timely unloading of trucks.
• Clean dock area as necessary and perform other assigned warehouse duties.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience: Up to one year of experience at Sysco with Pallet Jack and Forklift Certification.
• Professional Skills: Ability to adapt to changes, exceptional time management, interpersonal skills, and ability to work effectively in a team.
• Demonstrate persistence, accuracy, and the ability to overcome obstacles.
• Follow guidelines, maintain quality output, and ensure safety procedures are followed.
• Contribute to a positive team environment and possess basic computer skills.

Physical Demands:

• Required to stand, walk, use hands, lift weight, and have specific vision abilities.
• Must be able to adjust to different physical conditions.

Work Environment:

• Exposed to various environmental conditions such as wet, hot, extreme cold, or humid conditions.
• Work around moving mechanical parts and at times in high, precarious places.
• Occasional exposure to fumes or airborne particles, with a generally loud noise level.
