    Hours and locations vary depending on office needs Monday-Friday.

    Description:

    This position will be responsible for greeting patients, collecting patient's IDs, insurance cards, etc., and giving patients appropriate exam paperwork.

    This may include registration duties including inputting demographics and insurance information, checking referrer orders, taking payments, and checking any additional notes added to the account.

    Other duties may be assigned as needed. Must be patient-friendly with exceptional customer service skills.

    Eligibility:
    To be eligible for consideration, internal applicants must meet the minimum requirements listed in the job description. Must have no disciplinary actions and have been in current position/schedule for a minimum of 1 year.

    The chosen applicant must have a proven ability to get along with co-workers, an overall understanding of all patient workflow, and an excellent attendance record with no warnings.

    Requirements


    Education:
    Minimum: High School graduate


    Experience:
    Minimum: One year in a hospital or outpatient healthcare setting with extensive experience. Front desk and registration experience are a plus. Must have good customer service skills and patient interaction, be able to work independently and maintain strict confidentiality. Must be proficient in use of computers.
