    Job Title: Department Manager


    AECOM is seeking a Department Manager to oversee the Southeast Area Environmental Planning and Permitting (EPP) Department. The successful candidate will improve revenue growth, ensure high staff utilization without sacrificing quality, safety or performance, manage their Department's Profit and Loss, and mentor and grow their staff.


    This role oversees approximately 60 professionals. The ideal candidate has experience in managing the full range of natural resources studies required in obtaining federal and state permits in the Southeastern United States. They will also manage numerous open-end contracts involving general environmental resource services as well as multi-million-dollar projects with public outreach deliverables.


    Job Responsibilities:



    1. Leadership: The Department Manager provides leadership to managers and professional staff through collaboration with sales leads for client engagement.

    2. Financial Management: This leader is responsible for departmental financials including review of proposals for technical content & compliance "trends", business plan development & tracking/management.
