    What You'll Do:

    • Lead Therapeutic Sessions: Conduct engaging group sing-alongs, rhythm circles, and personalized one-on-one music therapy sessions.

    • Target Well-being: Design musical interventions that help with memory recall, stress reduction, and physical movement.

    • Collaborate: Work alongside our Life Enrichment Specialists to integrate music into our daily "vibrant living" programming.

    • Assess & Document: Observe resident responses and tailor your sessions to meet their evolving emotional and cognitive needs.

    What We're Looking For:

    • The Talent: Proficiency in guitar, piano, or other portable instruments.

    • The Credentials: A Degree in Music Therapy (MT-BC preferred or eligible).

    • The Personality: Warm, patient, and able to connect with seniors of all cognitive levels.

    • The Passion: A genuine belief in the therapeutic benefits of music for older adults.
