    Job Description:


    The Zumiez Marketing department is expanding and is looking for a new Marketing Coordinator to join the team in supporting various marketing promotions and digital events. The Marketing Coordinator will be responsible for planning logistics, engagement, production, and execution of virtual events, promotions, and employee recognition/training, while also assisting with brand and vendor marketing initiatives as directed by the marketing management team. Additionally, the new Marketing Coordinator will get the chance to collaborate with some of Zumiez's most innovative minds and experience the exciting aspects of living an action sports lifestyle.

    Joining a small, versatile team, ideal candidates should thrive in a fast-paced environment, be self-motivated, flexible, highly organized, detail-oriented, tenacious yet tactful, confident in handling diverse departmental objectives and personalities, adept at problem-solving, able to work well under pressure to meet deadlines, and maintain a positive outlook.

    Job Responsibilities:

    • Execute live events through streaming, content production, and video editing
    • Utilize back-end tools for Stash responsibilities
    • Take full accountability for the success of marketing projects and enhancing customer experience
    • Lead promotional initiatives to generate excitement around marketing projects
    • Assist in supporting The Zumiez Stash rewards program
    • Engage in securing rewards acquisitions by liaising with brands
    • Assist the Marketing department with logistics and administrative tasks essential for successful project execution
    • Incorporate The Zumiez Stash into customer interactions
    • Assist the marketing team in monitoring and summarizing outcomes of all events
    • Engage with customers in real-time to establish genuine connections and deliver exceptional experiences
    • Creatively document Zumiez's marketing activities and events
    • Manage communication with Zumiez Store Team and brand partners regarding all marketing events and promotions
    • Support the content management team in uploading promotional content

    Job Requirements:

    • Ability to focus and work independently as well as in a team
    • Proficient in computer skills with knowledge of Microsoft Office, especially Excel, Word, & Outlook
    • Sense of determination to drive projects across all stages, meeting tight deadlines and adapting to changing circumstances with quick learning and response abilities
    • Effective oral and written communication skills
    • Sound decision-making and problem-solving capabilities
    • Prior experience in Marketing, Events & Promotions, or related fields
    • Capability to address and resolve issues related to assigned projects
    • Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and follow-up. Skilled in organizing and prioritizing multiple tasks, and thriving in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
    • Aptitude to interact efficiently with various personality types and employees at all organizational levels; confidence in communication style and comfortable engaging with individuals
