Description
This position is for an Airframe Structure Design Engineer (100% design) in either Marietta, GA or Palmdale, CA.
A successful candidate will apply technical expertise in developing solutions to aircraft structural design problems and develop airframe design solutions under general direction and independently.
Experience with 3D Experience or CATIA V5 or V6 (3DX)
Experience with Model Based Definition
Experience with Full-Sized Determinant Assembly
Experience with primary and secondary structure design in aircraft
Experience with subsystem installation design
Experience with Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T)
Experience with structural analysis for preliminary sizing
Airframe structure design experience
Active US Government Security Clearance
