Job summary

We are looking for a full-time Pipefitter Specialist to perform duties involving installation, maintenance and repair of pipe systems.

Responsibilities

• Performs duties involving installation, maintenance and repair of all conduit transporting fluids, including air, water, steam, gas pipe systems and plumbing facilities.
• Works from blueprints, drawings written and verbal orders; repairs pipes; installs bends cuts threads pipe as necessary; cuts holes in wall or floors with an axe saw drill; threads pipe with stock dies operates a pipe cutting machine cutting pipe to desired length bends pipes by hand machine assembles pipes with couplings fastens hangers tests high pressure lines hydrostatic pressure tests installs repairs faucets plumbing fixtures such commodes sinks replacing broken worn parts opens clogged drains lays installs water lines cut-in main lines performs any the duties usually performed craft persons other classifications bargaining unit represented at Plant Local United Association Journeymen Apprentices Plumbing Pipefitting Industry follows training work requires collecting transporting storing treating disposing hazardous waste related documentation maintains segregation contaminated hazardous waste area responsibility accordance prescribed procedures receives training outlined Company's Hazardous Waste Training Program-
