As a System Administrator II, you will be working in Technology Services in the department of Technology Operations. This position works as part of an enterprise team to perform routine systems administration support functions, such as troubleshooting, research, debugging and problem solving. As well as server administration and the onboarding of new services.

In this role, you will be working within a specialist team to support Unified Endpoint Management (Apple, Windows, AndroidOS, Linux devices/workstations).

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience. Three years of systems administration experience.

• Provides technical oversight of system testing and performance analyses and tuning.
• Provides application management for endpoint devices and systems.
• Ensures OS security and compliance.
• Routinely follows Change Management practices relative to the service supported.
• Implements new technology deployments and system integration testing.
• Performs annual security assessments.
• Provides administration for enterprise device management platforms (Jamf, Microsoft Intune and Microsoft Configuration Manager, SaltStack, Ansible)
• equipment requirements.
  

Preferred Experience

• Following IT Service Management processes including Incident, Request Fulfillment, Change, and Problem.
• Managing devices and systems using Jamf, Kanji, Mosyle, Microsoft Configuration Manager, Intune, Manage Engine Endpoint Central, ZenWorks, SaltStack, or Ansible.
• Managing application patching tools including PatchMyPC.
• Systems administration for Windows Server and Linux OS
• Managing and administering load balancers
• Scripting with Powershell, Bash, Python, JavaScript, or Terraform.
• Administering backup software including Rubrik, VEEAM, or Cohesity.

Preferred Certifications

• ITIL Foundation Certificate in IT Service Management
• CompTIA Security+
• VMware Certified Professional (VCP)
• Jamf 300: Jamf Certified Admin or above
• Microsoft Azure Fundamentals Certification (AZ-100)
• Microsoft Modern Endpoint Administrator Associate Certification (MD-102)
• Microsoft M365 Administrator Certification (MS-102)
• Red Hat RHCSA, RHCE
