- Bachelor's degree (BA/BS).
- Three to Five years of relevant underwriting experience in Medical Malpractice or Social Services.
- Current position supports a Medical Malpractice or Social Service underwriting team and supports another Professional Liability product, and underwriting experience is a plus.
- Efficient with Microsoft suite of products.

We are looking for an experienced underwriter to join our Allied Medical, Social Service, and SMML underwriting team.
This position is in Encino, CA, Chicago, IL or Atlanta, GA; you will be part of the regional team and will report to the Underwriting Product Manager.
Our Allied Medical and Social Service products are designed to provide coverage for healthcare providers/facilities and organizations providing Social Services.
And our SMML product is designed to provide coverage for businesses for the actions of their staff; these businesses may need help to obtain coverage in the standard market.
Schedule:
If you reside in Encino, CA, Chicago, IL, or Atlanta, GA you will be working a hybrid schedule.
Position Overview
This is a market-facing production underwriting role on a close-knit team of highly motivated and productive individuals.
You will be responsible for underwriting new and renewal business and developing relationships with our key customers to achieve our teams' shared objectives.
You will need to be able to operate with minimal supervision yet know when to seek guidance or approval, have the willingness to speak up and promote positive change, be results-oriented and enjoy working in a fast-paced environment.

For candidates working in person or remotely in the following location, the reasonable pay range for this specific position is $85,500 - $117,500 annually Encino, CA.
The salary offered for this specific position is based on a number of legitimate, non-discriminatory factors set by the Company.
