    Responsibilities


    This is an opportunity for a motivated APP to join the growing Stem Cell Transplant/Cellular Therapy and Malignant Hematology group at the Wilmot Cancer Institute.

    This APP role is primarily inpatient. Responsibilities include evaluation and management of acute illness and chronic symptom management, follow-up, coordination of services, and family education.

    This opportunity also includes the development of proficiencies in procedures such as bone marrow biopsy, intrathecal chemotherapy administration, and chemotherapy/biotherapy certification.

    Excellent organizational and team skills essential. Strong onboarding process/structure that supports new graduate applicants. Must be NYS eligible for NP or PA certification. ACLS/BLS/DEA certifications required.


    Qualifications

    Nurse Practitioner


    Require a Master's degree (or pending) as a Nurse Practitioner, an active New York State Registered Nurse license in good standing, an active/pending New York State Nurse Practitioner licensure in good standing and current/pending national certification as an Nurse Practitioner.

    Physician Assistant

    Requires completion (or pending) of an ARC-PA approved Physician Assistant program, an active/pending New York State Physician Assistant licensure in good standing and current/pending national certification as a Physician Assistant by the NCCPA ( _National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants)_


    NPs and PAs will demonstrate clinical competence, superior verbal and written communication skills, interpersonal effectiveness and customer relations skills, computer competence and must have an active desire to learn.

    The APP will participate in the education of learners (students and new employees), using clinical learning experiences, knowledge sharing and skill training.

    Pay Range


    Pay Range:
    $ $67.07

    _The referenced pay range represents the minimum and maximum annual salary for this faculty position.

    Individual salaries will be determined within the job's salary range, and will be determined by considering factors including, but not limited to, market data, education, experience, qualifications, expertise of the individual, and internal equity considerations.

    Incentive-based compensation may also be applicable and will be discussed during the hiring process._

    Schedule: FT position D/N. Weekend and holidays per unit policy.
