Job Summary:
Attends to patients being transported by ambulance on emergency and non-emergency calls and is responsible for the patient's safety in route.Core Responsibilities and Essential Functions:
Visually and manually checks assigned EMS unit and equipment for functional readiness upon reporting for duty.Responds to dispatched calls within one (1) minute of notification between the hours of 0800 and 2300; then no more than three (3) minutes between the hours of 2300 and 0800.
Completes Patient Care Report and documents applicable medical procedures and protocols.
