ResponsibilitiesPriorities can often change in a fast-paced environment like ours, so this role includes, but is not limited to, the following responsibilities:
Preparing cost estimates at various stages of design from schematic and budget to detailed take-off and pricing
Participating in project meetings, reviewing schedules, and preparing reports
Exploring documentations in order to gain a deep understanding of project requirements
Building and maintaining healthy and long-term relationships with vendors, clients, and other project managers
Performing complex analysis of collected data and metrics
Visiting sites, warehouses, and other venues necessary in order to do estimates
Communicating with architects, engineers, clients, contractors, and subcontractors efficiently; and preparing economic feasibility studies on changes and adjustments to cost estimates.
RequirementsEssential Skills and Experience:
Bachelor's degree in Engineering
Must possess Engineer in Training (EIT) License or Professional Engineer (PE) and be an active member of the CIAPR
10 years of experience
Must have fluent verbal and written communication skills in English and Spanish.
