+ Provide comprehensive preventive, diagnostic and restorative oral health services to infants children adolescents and patients with special healthcare needs + Perform pediatric dental procedures including but not limited to Restorative procedures Extractions and minor oral surgical procedures Pulp therapy and emergency dental care Behavior guidance and painanxiety management within permitted standards + Diagnose oral diseases dental trauma developmental abnormalities and special care needs Interpret dental x-rays diagnostic tests clinical findings Monitor growth development of teeth jaws craniofacial structures Develop individualized evidencebased treatment plans Provide preventive services such as fluoride applications sealants Deliver care to patients with special healthcare needs using appropriate clinical behavioral techniques Educate children parents caregivers on oral hygiene nutrition caries prevention homecare Promote ageappropriate preventive strategies anticipatory guidance Communicate treatment options risks benefits posttreatment instructions clearly Maintain accurate complete timely electronic dental records Ensure compliance with HIPAA OSHA infection control standards NYS regulations Participate in quality improvement peer review risk management initiatives Meet all organizational mandatory training continuing education requirements Work collaboratively with teams Coordinate care Pediatric Dental Director implement best practices Manage appointment schedules treatment plans optimize patient access continuity care Contribute program development clinical protocols staff mentoring Upholds ethical standards legal scope pediatric practice Supports mission values community health goals DFCCs Maintains punctuality attendance professional attire adherence organizational policies
