    Marina Veterinary CenterMarina Veterinary Center is seeking an exceptional Associate Medical Director to provide additional clinical leadership and play a vital role in upholding our commitment to high-quality veterinary care.

    The Associate Medical Director will support the Medical Director's vision while overseeing the delivery of comprehensive services and managing the talented Associate DVM team.

    In this key position, you will maintain and enhance clinical standards, foster a compassionate hospital culture, and drive excellence in client experience and patient care.

    You will proactively identify areas for improvement, develop Associate Veterinarians, and collaborate closely with the Medical Director, Hospital Manager, Regional Operations Director and the Companion team.

    As a clinical leader, you will help shape practices, implement initiatives, and cultivate an environment of continuous growth within our state-of-the-art facility offering services like minimally invasive surgery.

    REQUIREMENTS:
    Collaborate with lead Medical Director, Associate DVMs and Hospital Manager to ensure high-quality clinical practices.
    Support client experience excellence and address issues with Associate DVMs and Hospital Manager.
    Support Medical Director in identifying and executing plans to address hospital needs, from clinical to staffing challenges.
    Foster a positive environment for team satisfaction, retention, and long-term support.
    Manage DVM schedules and recruitment needs in coordination with the lead Medical Director, Hospital Manager and Operations.

    Participate in operational and financial calls to address hospital issues, identify growth opportunities, support responsible hospital management and investment decisions.

    Provide guidance to Associate DVMs and clinical staff on clinical outcomes and best practices.
    Assist in attracting and retaining new DVMs while developing ongoing training programs.
    Contribute to regular doctor meetings and ensure adherence to high clinical standards.


    COMPETENCIES & EXPERIENCE:
