- Participate in lab activities, use EHR , and teach skills with lab, sim, and course coordinators.
- Provide and Support simulation experiences with the Simulation Coordinator.
- Assist with preparation before and reorganization after simulation and lab activities.
- Serve as a resource for faculty in promoting student learning experiences and for professional development.
- Provide instructional support to adjunct clinical faculty for skills.
- Assess students' abilities in simulation and lab activities and promote critical thinking skills in the application of theory to practice.
- Maintain communication with lab and simulation coordinators regarding students' learning difficulties.
- Help to train and work collaboratively with graduate assistants assigned to the lab.
- Participate in community engagement activities.
- Attend meetings as needed.
- Earned bachelor's degree in nursing.
- Experience as an RN in a hospital.
- Candidate should be comfortable with computers, Microsoft Office (e.g. Word and PowerPoint), systems of documenting care online, and quality improvement methods.
- Ability to coordinate and monitor complex activities and collaborate.
- Current NYS RN License is required or upon hire.
- Recent nursing skills lab and simulation experience is highly desirable.
- BLS and ACLS certification preferred.
