    Description

    About the Job Title and the Company:
    The Senior CЕО Operations Manager position at the U.S. Pharmacopeial Convention (USP) plays a crucial role in collaborating with the CEO to advance the organization's objectives and establish USP as a leading figure in enhancing the availability of quality medicines globally.


    Key Responsibilities:

    • Working closely with relevant USP personnel to plan and implement strategic engagement strategies for the CEO.
    • Ensuring the CEO is well-prepared to maximize engagement opportunities.
    • Partnering with different USP departments to develop, execute, and evaluate the effectiveness of strategic engagement plans for the CEO.

    How You Will Make an Impact:

    • Contributing to USP's mission of improving access to high-quality medicine and enhancing global health through public standards and related initiatives.
    • Playing a role in the professional development of all people managers to foster inclusive work environments.

    Desired Qualifications:

    • Bachelor's degree in areas such as Political Science, Public Policy, a scientific field, health-related degree, or a relevant discipline.
    • Minimum of five to seven years of experience in executive communications/engagement within the healthcare or pharmaceutical sectors.
    • Additional Preferred Qualifications:
    • An advanced degree in science or business.
    • Proficiency in writing effectively for various audiences and styles.
    • Commitment to Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, and Belonging (DEIB) initiatives.
    • Strong business acumen and ability to build relationships with executive leaders.
    • Experience in public policy and regulatory affairs with a preference for experience in a US federal agency or Congress.
    • Good understanding of the healthcare and pharmaceutical industries.
    • Proven ability to manage multiple projects, influence without direct authority, and collaborate effectively at all organizational levels.
    • Willingness to travel internationally.
