    At least one of 1-5:

    • Human Environmental Science Degree with a concentration in Early Childhood
    Development or Child Development.


    • Elementary Education Degree with a P-3 (formerly N-3) add-on and teacher
    certification.


    • Elementary Education Degree with an A.A.S. in Child Development and teacher
    certification.


    • Early Childhood Education Degree (B.S., B.A., or M.Ed.) with teacher certification.
    • Special Education Degree with a minimum of 18 credit hours in early childhood/
    child development coursework, and teacher certification.


    • Physical and emotional ability and dexterity to perform required work and move
    about as needed.


    • Such alternatives to the above qualifications as the Policy Council and Board of
    Education may find appropriate and acceptable.
